On January 2, 2008. My first journal entry. And, my first, and perhaps best, chance to thank all of the people who have helped my family through the difficult process of dealing with ALS.
ALS is a terribly expensive disease that also demands tremendous effort and time from the primary caregiver -- in this case, Julie.
The support group that organized to relieve to Julie and take care of our family has provided meals, worked on projects around our home, and truly made the Christmas of 2007 a memorable one.
There's no way that we can express our thanks to you individually, so please accept this note as our heartfelt thanks.
